Wonderful coffee, shop and Café in the old hotel Vance. The atmosphere is terrific in the old lobby of the hotel. Quaint cozy place to grab an absolutely delicious coffee as well as some breakfast food. Highly recommend if you’re in this area. One of the better coffee shops in old town!

Deserving of an awesome review. The coffee is delicious, the Humboldt fog latte with earl gray and vanilla bean is delicious, so is the olive oil almond cake and other pastries, so is the breakfast sandwich!

Stopped by for some morning coffee and matcha with a relatively big group. The workers were sweet and efficient. Although we had a lot of drinks ordered, they were pretty quick with making them. Coffee was solid, they also were able to make it with honey which was a major plus. Also tried their matcha with honey which was alright as well. The place itself was spacious and welcoming to be in. Parking was easy to find. Definitely will be back if ever in the area!

Cute spot to grab a small bite to eat. Casual dining. Service was friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere- cute decor, quiet, good vibes. Food was okay. Bathrooms available, ask cashier for the code. Free street parking in the area.

Local, fresh, organic, delicious! Come for the coffee, stay for the food! One of the few places in Humboldt to serve up a legit cappuccino. Lovely cold brew really gets you going. Local chai is also perfect. BTW, they use really fabulous milk! I adore the house made granola & yogurt! Winner! All the baked goods are epic, ie salted chocolate chip cookie is chewy and crisp. The seasonal salad is huge, excellent dressing & filling in the best sort of salad-y way. Don’t get me started on the chilaquiles *so fabulous* maybe our favorite in all of NorCal! The toast options are nice too. I love their commitment to sustainable, local & ethical choices. This is a model business and we love them! Lastly, great staff: friendly, professional and prompt!

Traveling along the entire California coast with my partner and this is the best coffee we have found anywhere on our travels! High quality coffee & food, absolutely gorgeous historic building, and super friendly staff! We had ordered a cappuccino and a lavender latte, and WOW from the first sip you can tell they use high quality beans and dairy to create beverages that are delicious works of art. We also ordered one vegetarian chilaquiles to share, and it was so tasty we ordered a second one so that we didn’t have to share :) Happy to see lots of veggie options, and excited to hear about the second location in Arcata, which we are going to have to check out so we can try more goodies and pick up a shirt so we can rep our new favorite coffee shop!
